Once returned to SAM, all items of equipment (excluding minor peripherals) are bar-coded and allocated a unique reference number for future tracking. Equipment is then inspected and categorised for either disposal or remarketing. Equipment allocated for remarketing is then subjected to a functionality test and graded depending on condition.
A comprehensive asset report is then produced, providing the customer with a future audit trail. This report is then forwarded to the customer. All hard drives are either shredded or data-erased with all company references and security markings removed from equipment. In the event that security markings cannot be removed, equipment will automatically be forwarded for disposal.
Through our broker channel, we are confident that we can generate the highest revenue possible from our customers' redundant IT equipment. Revenue generated is either used to off set retirement related costs or passed back to the customer.
